What Is PEMF Therapy?

PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy uses pulsing magnetic fields, delivered by a device like the FlexPulse.

Electromagnetic exchange between cells

Your body runs on tiny electrical signals passed between cells. A PEMF device works with magnetic fields instead of electrical current: a coil produces a pulsing field, with no electrodes on the skin and nothing plugged into the wall.

Our founder, Dr. William Pawluk, discussing PEMF with Dr. Oz on The Dr. Oz Show (2011).

Why magnetic fields

Researchers have studied electrical stimulation of the body for decades. But the problem has always been (a) locating electrodes close enough to the tissues to be stimulated electrically, and (b) the fact that free electrical current follows a random path of least resistance.

PEMF systems like the FlexPulse PEMF, brought to market by our founder Dr. William Pawluk, MD, device solve these problems by using magnetic fields as opposed to direct electrical fields. The FlexPulse™ coil produces a pulsed magnetic field that passes through clothing, with no electrodes or gels on the skin.

Ways to use the FlexPulse

Ten programs cover the whole day: calmer frequencies for quiet moments and brighter ones for focus, all in a clip-on device you can wear through training days and travel.

Pick a program, set the timer and wear it while you work, train or relax.

Relaxation

Sit back with a session at home or at your desk.

Wind down

Slower programs for the end of the day.

Focus

Brighter programs for the working day.

Active days

Clip it on and wear it through training and the rest of your day.

Contraindications

The only absolute contraindication for use of the FlexPulse™ G2 is placing the applicators over implanted electrical devices like pacemakers, cochlear implants, intrathecal pumps, etc, because the magnetic field can shut the device off. Safety of PEMFs has not been established in pregnancy, although there is no evidence of harm either. They should be used with caution in Grave’s disease or active bleeding.

Try It for 30 Days

Send it back within 30 days of receipt for a refund. Return shipping is at your cost, and a 20% restocking fee applies unless it’s a manufacturer’s error. The controller carries a 2-year warranty, the charging disc and coils 6 months.
